The exquisite EcoTeak gadgets are handmade in the foothills of the mountains of Northern Thailand from reclaimed teak and solid brass. The wood begins its life as tattered and weathered pieces of old Thai houses, fences, and farm structures. The exterior of the silvered wood, worn down by use and exposure, is then carefully milled away to reveal the rich gold and chocolate tones of ancient teak. These precious pieces of history are shaped and bored in the small shop of a clever Englishman who has spent the better part of his life in Asia, seeking interesting materials and products to share with the world.
